Antal Consulting, LLC was officially formed in March of 2007 with the intent to strengthen research-based initiatives affecting New Hampshire's ability to identify and address the range of needs of its residents.
Since then, we have provided a range of evaluation and research supports to state, regional and national organizations which are dedicated to respecting and improving an individual's life from conception onwards as well as the communities that support them and their families. By offering a variety of tools to help provide clarity to often not-so-clear issues, our goal is to help organizations come to a better understanding of the challenges they face so that they can develop more effective short term solutions and long term strategies.
We have provided research support and evaluation services at the national, regional and local levels, including: the Western States Regional Genetics Network, Genetic Alliance, Early Learning NH, NIOSH, NH Nurses Association, and the NH-ME LEND (NH Leadership in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities). Pro Bono supports have recently been provided to St. Theresa's / St. Mary's parish and the NH-ME LEND program.
Recently completed projects include:
We are each uniquely gifted to connect with others in multiple ways. For myself, you may also be interested in connecting with me on:
Peter has served as Program Evaluator for the NH-ME LEND Program since 2011. NH-ME LEND is a federally funded training program and long-standing collaboration among the Institute on Disability at the University of New Hampshire, the Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies at the University of Maine, and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. The mission of the program is to prepare leaders to enter the field of maternal and child health in order to improve the lives of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families.
Over the last decade, I have had the pleasure of working closely with Peter to develop a program evaluation plan that engaged our trainees, faculty, and stakeholders in providing annual feedback to the program. This plan has been successfully implemented over two five-year grant cycles, and we are pleased to begin a third five-year cycle this year.
Without a doubt, NH-ME LEND is a stronger program locally, regionally, and nationally as a result of our collaboration with Peter. He has been an excellent partner and colleague, always listening carefully to what is needed, offering excellent input, and working within budget. As a member of the Leadership Team for NH-ME LEND, Peter has participated in writing grant proposals, facilitating long-range planning for our team, guiding annual performance evaluation and reporting for our funders, and leading program improvement efforts. He is thorough and thoughtful in his work, an innovative thinker, and has an eye for detail. I look forward to our continued collaborations!

I have worked with Peter for 2 years on various projects tied to the NH Occupational Health Surveillance Program at the Institute on Disability at UNH. I am impressed with Peter’s ability to synthesize, analyze, and interpret data, whether from secondary data sources, or from our own survey instruments, to “tell the story” of the impact of work-related injury and illness among our NH residents. His attention to detail and expertise in epidemiologic methodology are outstanding, and I was always confident that our reports were checked and double-checked for accuracy and precision. With Peter’s help we were able to publish important reports, write new grants, and think outside the box to develop new projects going forward. It’s been a pleasure working with Peter on these projects, with the hope of continuing our work together.

As the former Project Director for Impact Monadnock, a regional early childhood initiative with Monadnock United Way in Keene, NH, I worked with Peter for more than a year as he performed vitally important evaluation and assessment for our program. He was thorough, engaging, and understands that – at its core – community-based work requires flexibility and responsiveness, all characteristics which Peter holds in spades. He is a true professional, one I would work with again gladly.

We were extremely pleased with the work you did for us. The quality of your work was excellent. You were incredibly flexible, worked within our tight timelines and ever-changing constraints. Your presentations were well done, with clear visuals and your ability to answer spontaneous questions clearly and concisely was excellent. We also really appreciated your ability to work within our budget. Overall, your involvement in our project served to enhance the process and improve the final product. You were both professional and approachable. It is a pleasure to work with you and I would be happy to provide a recommendation. Thank You again.

I want to thank you for all you have done for NEGC/NERGN through out the years. You have always been so knowledgeable and efficient at what you do. All this mingled with a kindness and warmth that isn’t always found in business these days. You always took the time to make everyone feel valued and heard.
